Candidate can find innumerable NEET preparation books and NEET study material that offers the complete content to crack NEET Exam. Be acquainted with the exam pattern
Questions in NEET come from subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, and Biology (Zoology & Botany). There are 50 questions from each of the 4 sections, hence a total of 200 questions (out of which 180 must be answered, 45 from each section), where the maximum marks that can be scored are 720 marks. Questions are of intermediate level based on 11th and 12th standard Physics, Chemistry, and Biology books that follow the NCERT syllabus. Additionally, there is a slight change in the pattern. Each subject comprises 2 sections – Section A (35 questions), Section B (15 questions). Out of the 15 questions appearing in Section B, any 10 can be answered.
Know the syllabus
NEET has a vast syllabus. Before preparing, aspirants should spend a good amount of time understanding the NEET syllabus. Candidates can compare the exam syllabus with their board syllabus, and they can have some extra time to concentrate on the syllabus which is not covered. Time management plays a vital role when it comes to your NEET preparation. It is very important to get all the right answers within the span of 200 minutes. Therefore, set a timer for yourself every time you are practising a mock paper or attempting a mock test. Eventually you will be able to solve the practice paper within the allotted time.
