  1. Define discharge through pipes . Write the unit and dimension of discharge through pipe.

  5. What are the assumptions of Bernoulli’s equation.
  6. Define surface tension. Derive an expression for surface tension of a bubble.
  7. What is capillarity ? Derive an expression for capillary rise or fall of a liquid .
  8. Find the surface tension of a soap bubble of 60mm diameter when the inside pressure is 2.5 N/m^ above atmospheric pressure.
  9. The capillary rise in the glass tube is not exceed 0.4mm of water, Determine its minimum size , given that the surface tension for water in contact with air is 0.0725 N/m

c. Newtonian fluid & Non Newtonian fluids.
